Informal English classes at St Chad's Sanctuary

Fun with English!

Mondays 2:00 - 4:00

Have fun, make new friends and learn English. All levels welcome. 

Maximum number: 30 students. It is a good idea to book your place before you come to be sure that you will get in. Please join our Fun with English Telegram channel for information on how to book your place.

 

Conversation Café

Wednesdays 11:00 - 12:30

Come and practise your speaking and listening! Every week we will talk about a different topic. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided! 

Maximum number: 24 students. It is a good idea to book your place before you come to be sure that you will get in. Please join our Conversation Cafe Telegram channel for information on how to book your place.

 

Online Conversation Club

Wednesdays 11:00 - 12:30

This group meets every week on Zoom to talk about a different topic. This term we will be talking about: doctors and dentists, keeping healthy, transport, town and country, and news.

This group is suitable for students at Entry 2 level or higher. It is not suitable for beginners. Please fill in the registration form here

 

Formal English classes at St Chad's Sanctuary

We are not taking new applications for our formal English classes at the moment.

You can send us an email and we will let you know when we are registering new students again.

English classes at college

 You should be able to attend college if:

  • you are an asylum seeker and have been in the UK for more than 6 months
  • you have already received Leave to Enter (LTE) or Refugee status, even if you arrived less than 6 months ago
